How To Setup ADB and Fastboot on MAC
Step 1. What you need to do first is to create a new folder and name it “android”. You can create the folder anywhere, even on your hardrive. But in this tutorial, it will be created on a desktop.
Step 2. After doing that, then go over to Android developer page here and download the Android SDK.
Step 3. Open the file and Unzip it and the contents of the “android-sdk-mac_x86? folder into the android folder you have created in step 1.
Step 4. Now go into the android folder and run the “Android” executable file in it, Check screenshot below:-
Step 5. After that, then look for the folder called tools. Then select both “Android SDK Tools” and “Android SDK Platform-tools” and hit the Install Package button.
Step 6. Once that finishes, then go into the platform-tools folder in the android folder, then copy adb and fastboot and paste them into the root of your android folder.
Step 7. Nothing!
